Questions circulating waiting for answers (#10/52)

Waiting for messages (#10/52)There have been so many questions the last couple of weeks, and slowly I am listening and distilling answers, sorting through the chaff and distilling what remains.

Pondering next steps and new answers.

Journaling and conversing with friends.  Listening, and more thinking.  Exchanging ideas.  Moving forwards and making plans, charting milestones.

Getting down to the nitty gritty.

  1. …I would like to beg you dear Sir, as well as I can, to have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and to try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Don’t search for the answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer.
    Rainer Maria Rilke, 1903

My favorite Rilke quotes. Has carried me through many times.

  2. Your card is beautiful and thought-provoking. And I love Cynthia’s Rumi quote in the comment above. Like you, I’m always pondering.

  3. Listening is the hardest part. Especially if the answer is not what you want to hear. But sometimes it’s best to just ignore the question and let things happen. I believe everything has it’s reason. :)

Your comment will make my day. Thank you! :)
